Our Process
Danbury Winair is a design to fabrication business. That means that we are involved in the process from the conception of your sheet metal to the fabrication to the transportation. We put an emphasis on you, the customer, to provide the best service for all of your sheet metal fabrication needs.
BIM Modeling Services
Once an estimate and price are communicated, our engineering department is able to receive CAD files and begin to design shop drawings. At Danbury Winair, we have a dedicated group of BIM (Building Information Modeling) experts who are knowledgeable in AutoCad MEP Fabrication Technology and REVIT Engineering. These designers are able to provide honest estimates through computer modeling before we create the fabrications at our 15,000 square foot facility. As a result, we are able to streamline the process and provide an accurate, customized, and detailed CAD drawings for the shop.
Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop
Once the CAD drawings are approved by the lead engineer and the client, the actual metal fabrication takes place. Our warehouse space is equipped to fabricate a multitude of metal options. We can fabricate pieces from 24 gauge to 26 gauge, and up to 18 gauge. Whether you need acoustically-lined metal or double-wall metal, Danbury Winair can fabricate it.

The engineered designs allow our workers to create sheet metal fabrications that exceed expectations. The shop will assemble all the pieces and then label them with numbers to further streamline the site process. When your customized metal product arrives at the project site, the number labels will allow the guys in the field to put each component in order.
